摘要: Hydraulic flushing gates have recently been successfully adopted for the removal of sewer sediments. A large number researches are aimed at evaluation performances these devices in case granular sediment deposits, but little information exists about effectiveness flushes on cohesive sediments as yet literature. The current paper reports results an experimental investigation erosive waves beds. Experiments were performed a laboratory flume adopting two hydraulic conditions and comparing effects Different behaviours observed during operations: particular, beds to be smaller than initial whereas erosion proved higher subsequent flushes.
