摘要: : In this chapter we cover the recent progress in area of nanotube and graphene based photo-medicine for cancer therapeutics. Single wall carbon has received plenty attention research owing to their extraordinary physical properties. The unique photo-thermal effects these nanomaterials coupled with small size are potentially being explored as molecular transporters target kill cells both vitro vivo. These approaches reviewed. New combination therapy that uses nanotubes first transport chemotherapeutic drugs into followed by near infra-red photothermal ablation can enable better efficiency cell killing. Finally, concludes an outlook where discuss how such new treatments be integrated existing protocols patient outcomes health care delivery.
