摘要: Measurements of herbage intake and ingestive behaviour were made on British Friesian calves 4–9 months old, which strip-grazed swards S24 perennial ryegrass at three (Experiment A) or four B) levels daily allowance in (A) (B) 12-d periods. Herbage declined by approx. 18% as was reduced from 90 to 30 g DM per kg LW both experiments, but the relationship between not consistent periods. Bite size rate biting greater low than high allowances after entry a new strip positions reversed towards end grazing.
