摘要: Abstract Total and ionic calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, albumin, immunoreactive parathyroid hormone (iPTH) calcitonin (iCT) were measured in serum or plasma from 30 women throughout pregnancy (beginning before 12 weeks' gestation) the puerperium. calcium levels declined during gestation, paralleling a progressive fall albumin concentration, whereas values only very slightly. Although iPTH early lower than postpartum (suggesting that may decline initially following conception), major portion of gestation was characterized by progressively increasing concentrations which at term averaged 53% above 33% puerperal values. Thus, principal adjustment is “physiologic hyperparathyroidism” acts to preserve maternal homeostasis maintaining concentration ions extracellular fluid presence expanding volume, increased renal function, placental transfer. iCT not affected consistently exhibited highly variable patterns; half subjects demonstrated an increase first second trimesters then third trimester remaining equally divided between those with no change falling levels.
