摘要: Abstract Background Traffic safety is often expressed as the ‘inverse of accidents’. However, it more than mere absence accidents. Past studies looked for associations between accidents and self-reports like Driver Behaviour Questionnaire (DBQ; Reason, Manstead, Stradling, Baxter, & Campbell, 1990). The focus in this study changed from counting to quantifying unsafe acts violations. objective was show that drivers' specific violations can be traced personal characteristics such sensation seeking (SSS-V; Zuckerman, 1994), gender role (BSRI; Bem sex inventory, Bem, 1974), demographics, driving exposure. Method A web-based questionnaire distributed, integrating several known questionnaires. Five hundred twenty-seven questionnaires were completed analyzed. Results Sensation seeking, role, experience, age predicted respondents’ score on DBQ, well interaction with role. Gender a valid predictor driver behavior gender. Conclusions effect drivers’ self-reported violation tendency most interesting intriguing finding survey indicates need further examine affects driving.
