摘要: A dynamic energy budget (DEB) model for microalgae is proposed. This deviates from the standard DEB as it needs more reserves to cope with variation of assimilation pathways, requiring a different approach growth based on synthesizing unit (SU) theory multiple substrates. It shown that able accurately predict experimental data in constant and light-varying conditions most parameter values taken directly literature. Also, simulations are be consistent stylized facts (SFs) concerning N∶C ratio. These SFs reinterpreted general conclusion all forcing variables (dilution rate, temperature irradiance) impose changes nitrogen or carbon limitation status population, consequently reserve densities. Model predictions also evaluated comparison chlorophyll concentration. proposed an extra structure, dependent reserve, required dynamics. Finally, extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs) production by benthic diatoms collected interpreted formulation product synthesis rejection flux EPSs rate.
