摘要: The photodissociation and photoionization of liquid water following two-photon absorption at 266 nm is studied in the spectral range from 213 to 1108 with subpicosecond time resolution. Probing UV enables first direct simultaneous observation photoproducts eaq−, Haq, OHaq. This makes it possible follow geminate recombination kinetics between determine relative yields dissociation ionization channels. concentration hydrated electrons deduced visible near-infrared transient measurements decays by 40%±2% within 90 ps due OHaq H3O+. Analyzing our electron using independent reaction approximation results 82%±3% 18%±3% for H3O+, respectively. excellent agreement yield 82%±10% determined directly ou...
