摘要: The final height of 77 patients with growth hormone (GH) insufficiency childhood onset was analysed. Patients were treated between 1968 and 1996 for 1-15 years. mean in severe GH deficiency 163.9 cm (males) or 151.1 (female patients). In partial insufficiency, the heights 166.2 157.7 cm, respectively, caused by intracerebral tumours, 175.9 160.2 respectively. Late established diagnosis, lack (pituitary) during time prior to 1980 low frequency injections per week related fact that often below target range. four 51 retested deficiency, a normal response pituitary gland pharmacological testing found, whereas all other still suffered from insufficiency. An increased amount fat decreased lean body mass as well bone mineral density (12 out 15 patients) could be demonstrated at re-evaluation.
