Glutathione-Responsive Carboxymethyl Chitosan Nanoparticles for Controlled Release of Herbicides

摘要: Glutathione-responsive carboxymethyl chitosan nanoparticles cross-linked with disulfide bonds were developed for controlled release of herbicides. The synthesized by selfassembly amphiphilic derivative (CMCS-MUA) in aqueous solution and subsequently producing cross-linking ultrasonic treatment. TEM showed that the had a spherical core-shell configuration size about 250 nm. Assessment stability (considering mean diameter, polydispersity, Zeta potential) was conducted over period three months, found to be stable solution. Herbicide-loaded prepared using diuron as model herbicide. In vitro study revealed can released from manner depended on glutathione concentration. Herbicidal activity assays performed preemergence treatment target species (Echinochloa crusgalli) effectiveness diuron- loaded nanoparticles. Assays nontarget (Zea mays) diuronloaded did not affect plant growth. results indicate glutathioneresponsive this work will promising candidate herbicides agriculture.
