摘要: Curcumin has been strongly implicated as an anti-inflammatory agent, but the precise mechanisms of its action are largely unknown. In this study, we show that curcumin contributes to activity in murine asthma model and lung epithelial cell A549 through suppression nitric oxide (NO). To address problem, was injected into peritoneum ovalbumin (OVA)-sensitized mice before last allergen challenge. OVA challenge resulted activation production inducible (iNOS) tissue, inflammatory cytokines, recruitment eosinophils airways, airway hyper-responsiveness inhaled methacholine. These effects were all inhibited by pretreatment with curcumin. Furthermore, supplementation human cells decreased iNOS NO induced IFN-γ. findings may be useful adjuvant therapy for inflammation NO.
