摘要: Abstract Fourteen years after its introduction, comprehensive two‐dimensional gas chromatography (GC×GC) is one of the most powerful analytical tools available for analysis very complex samples. The technique based on application two GC columns coated with different stationary phases, connected in series through a special interface (modulator). not only physically connects columns, but also ensures preservation separation achieved first dimension. Compounds coeluting from column undergo additional second column. This leads to vastly increased power compared conventional 1D GC. paper reviews development technique, focusing recent advances GC×GC field. It describes principles basics data processing, instrumentation development, and selected applications.
