An enhanced radio resource management based MIH policies in heterogeneous wireless networks

摘要: The require of omnipresent wireless access and high data rate services are expected to increase extensively in the near future. In this context, heterogeneous networks, which a mixture different technologies (LTE-advanced, LTE-advanced Pro, C-IoT (Cellular Internet Thing), 5G WiFi, etc) invited enable important capabilities, such as rates, low latencies efficient resource utilization order provide dedicated capacity offices, homes, urban hotspots. Mixing these same system, with their complementary characteristics, afford complete coverage users can cause various challenges seamless handover, management call admission control. This article proposes general radio framework be supported by future network architectures. A combined control, reservation algorithm bandwidth adaptation based IEEE 802.21 MIH standard approach for is detailed framework. Our aims guarantee quality service (QoS) requirements all accepted calls, reduce new blocking probability handover dropping probability, maintain utilization. Performance analysis shows that our proposed best guarantees QoS requirements.
