摘要: Urban wastewater (UWW) management usually entails biological and physicochemical monitoring due to its potential impact on the quality of receiving environment. A major component a sewage system is pipe network leading water treatment plant. Up now, few studies have been conducted diverse phenomena that may affect characteristics during transportation. In this study, ecotoxicity antibiotic resistance were used in global method assess change UWW determine if sewer pipes can act as bioreactor spread. Three bioassays samples concentration relative abundance two classes integrons (as proxy for resistance) measured. The results bioassay battery do not show pattern, despite fact differences noticeable between upstream downstream samples. Antibiotic appeared decrease transport decreased several campaigns. This result should be confirmed other networks but already provides useful information urban system.
