Planning a reader‐oriented strategy for a publishing company: a case study

摘要: Scientific research in the sector of press readability and specifically magazines is not particularly extensive. This paper suggests a framework for development strategic decisions based on reader satisfaction measurements. The methodology illustrated through real-world application, i.e. customer-oriented strategy planning leading monthly IT magazine Greece. study implements MUSA (Multicriteria Satisfaction Analysis) method to evaluate satisfaction, order support editor making while his editorial strategy. Reader was analysed tree containing seven main criteria 32 sub-criteria. Readers proved be very satisfied non-demanding, which results narrower margins efficient improvement suggestions. However, evaluation led putting forward suggestions that could amendment decisions. Some these were successfully implemented within scope new revealed need two separate editions, an pupils students as well focused women. decision maker received what publications' features should be, deriving from study's quantitative results.
