摘要: A survey of auditory processing (AP) diagnostic practices was mailed to all licensed audiologists in the State Maryland and sent as an electronic mail attachment American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Educational Audiology Internet forums. Common AP protocols (25 from Internet, 28 Maryland) included requiring basic audiologic testing, using questionnaires, administering dichotic listening, monaural low-redundancy speech, temporal processing, electrophysiologic tests. Some also administer binaural interaction, attention, memory, speech-language/psychological/educational tests incorporate a classroom observation. The various batteries presently administered appear be based on availability with well-documented normative data. Resources for obtaining are listed.
