摘要: Trithorax (Trx) is a member of the trithorax group (trxG) epigenetic regulators, which required to maintain active states Hox gene expression during development. We have purified from Drosophila embryos acetylation complex (TAC1) that contains Trx, dCBP, and Sbf1. Like CBP, TAC1 acetylates core histones in nucleosomes, suggesting this activity may be important for maintenance activity. dCBP Sbf1 associate with specific sites on salivary gland polytene chromosomes, colocalizing many Trx binding sites. One these site Ultrabithorax ( Ubx ). Mutations either trx or encoding reduce endogenous as well transgenes driven by bxd regulatory region . Thus are closely linked, physically functionally, expression.
