摘要: An attempt has been made to produce barley lines in accordance with an ideotype designed 1968. Current are early maturing, uniculm, six-row barleys, of medium height, high harvest index, and moderate resistance lodging. However, they have lax leaves length, contrast the short, erect ideotype. When sown narrow rows at a rate three times that tillered lines, given grain yields greater than two- controls, especially favourable seasons, but less so dry years. The quality not examined. In absence plasticity number tillers, uniculm show increased grains per ear weight grain. It is possible habit, apart from effects on morphology maturity, may permit more exacting selection high-yielding plants among each comprising many mutually competing culms.
