摘要: The genus of Oligoryzomys includes species small size, morphologically similar, which may impede taxonomic identification, mainly between O. flavescens (Waterhouse, 1837) and nigripes (Olfers, 1818). main objective this work was to investigate whether the RAPD markers are capable genetically differentiating specimens flavescens, coming from Rio Grande do Sul (RS) Santa Catarina (SC) states, also estimate genetic variability among populations nigripes, with Uruguay River as a geographical barrier. For purpose, samples were collected in fragments forests situated North RS, at FLONA (Floresta Nacional de Passo Fundo) SC, close River. karyotyping two for each carried out compared using technique together non- karyotyped individuals. Samples presented 2n = 62; NA 82, submetacentric arms on largest chromosomes, while showed 64; 66, chromosomes presenting acrocentric morphology, making such result difference species. analysis able detect distinct groups, being first one second nigripes. Identification afforded 211 loci, them 181 (85.78%) polymorphic. Jaccard similarity coefficient range 0.45 0.87. UPGMA Main Coordinate Analysis techniques demonstrated existence heterogeneous genetics populations, but did not separate completely terms standards, they influenced by River, act an efficient
