摘要: A study has been made of the cyanoethylation (CNE) wool with liquid and gaseous phases acrylonitrile (AN), using KCN. acetic acid, etc., as catalysts. Results practical interest are follow. The process shows a greater degree CNE (DCNE) than does process, attaining maximum ca. 6·0g-equiv. CH2: CH·CN/104g wool. NaCN. NaOH, triethanolamine, boric acid also used catalysts for CNE, but all these show lower DCNE except NaCN, which is effective Preformalized untreated When cyanoethylated in phase, KCN catalyst, shrinkage diminishes remarkably. Breaking strength increases alkalisolubility remains unchanged, there no marked change respect to moth-proofing. effect on dyeing properties introduction cyanoethyl groups into keratin, catalysts, discussed.
