摘要: Abstract Chronic administration of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) has recently been suggested as a potential treatment for cholestatic liver disease. The purpose this study was to examine the effects chronic oral UDCA on histological, biochemical, and hemodynamic abnormalities induced by bile duct ligation in rat. Fifty-one rats with ligation-section common were randomly blindly assigned receive (25 mg/kg each day) or placebo gavage 4 weeks. At end period, morphometric analysis showed that treated UDCA, hepatocyte sinusoidal volume fractions significantly higher than receiving [41.9 ± 3.2% vs. 28.1 1.8%, (mean SE) 7.4 0.1% 4.3 0.3%, respectively], whereas fraction (reflecting ductular proliferation) connective tissue lower (14,2 1.5% 20.0 1.0% 35.4 2.4% 47.6 1.7%, respectively). Serum aminotransferase alkaline phosphatase activities, total serum acids individual concentrations not different between two groups. Portal pressure (12.7 0.5 mm Hg 17.1 Hg), portal tributary blood flow (5.7 0.4 9.3 mL · min −1 100 g body weight), cardiac index (41.1 1.8 50.6 1.4 weight) UDCA-treated placebo-treated animals. In vein stenosed rats, had no effects, finding suggests direct vasoactive effect splanchnic circulation. It is concluded limits severity disease consequently hypertension hyperkinetic
