Trends of Development and Factors of Competitiveness of Banking Sector in Global Economy - Empirical Study from Slovakia

摘要: The main aim of this paper is to investigate development trends and analyze factors affecting co mpetitiveness growth banking sector changes in these over time using regression models, selected statistical indicators, balance sheet variables, bank profit rate macroeconomic environment with a focus on Slovakia as member the Euro area. method empirical trend analysis, correlation analysis economic modelling are used. relationships between dependence profitability have been surveyed quantified models spanning period seven years (2004-2010) ten (2001-2010). Simp le or mu ltip (M1-M6) accurately reflected real develop ment Slovakia. Since variables not dependent Slovak historical context, can be readily applied other central European economies. There found market that informed such effective liquid ity management, quality sheets assets increase total crucial share earn ing (loans), efficient management interest policy net marg in, increasing fro m long-term aspect. These could further used improve financial enterprises competitiveness against crises.
