摘要: In this study, Taguchi method has been applied to evaluate the effect of cryogenically treated tools in turning Hastelloy C22 super alloy on surface roughness. The optimum parameters (cryogenic treatment, cutting speed, and feed rate) were determined by using experimental design method. method, L9 orthogonal array used determine signal noise (S/N) ratio. Analysis ANOVA was carried out identify significant factors affecting statistical analysis indicated that rate, with a contribution percentage as high 87.64 %, had most dominant machining performance, followed cryo-treated treatment respectively. confirmation tests it is possible improve roughness significantly Surface improved 28.3 72.3 % shallow (CT1) cryogenic deep (CT2) cementite carbide (UT). It found wear resistance tungsten insert increased treatments.
