摘要: The mechanism of the gastrointestinal motility effects diphenoxylate and morphine in preventing E prostaglandin (PG) diarrhea was investigated. Duodenal studies were conducted anesthetized dog. Two contractile force transducers oriented to record contractions from both circular longitudinal muscles. In some experiments basic electrical rhythm (BER) also recorded. Blood pressure monitored femoral artery drug injections made vein. Diphenoxylate shared with capacity stimulate muscle which correlated appearance spike potentials on BER. Prostaglandin E1 methyl ester (PGE1ME) showed marked relaxation abolishment potentials. PGE1ME blocked stimulatory muscle. PGE2 found be equally potent producing mice. inhibiting PG's diarrhea. These suggest that constipating actions are a consequence increased activity intestine.
