A New Computationally Efficient Model for Tempering in Multitrack Laser Hardening in Medium Carbon Steels

摘要: The bottleneck in laser hardening principally occurs when large surfaces have to be treated because this process situation leads multitrack scanning order treat all the component surfaces. Unfortunately, trajectories generate an unwanted tempering effect that depends on overlapping of two close trajectories. To reduce softening effects, a simulator capable optimize parameters, such as power and speed number types trajectories, could sensibly increase applicability process. In paper, original model for is presented. By introducing time factor martensitic transformation, hardiness reduction can predicted according any material, geometry. Experimental comparisons will presented prove accuracy model.
