摘要: “Streptococcus milleri” group is indigenous in the mouth and known to be primarily associated with suppurative infections not a common isolate from cases of endocarditis.1 However, S. intermedius isolates patients heart disease have been demonstrated induce endocarditis bacteremia animals experimentally predisposing heart-valve damage.2, 3 “S. thus consistently considered one etiologic agents serious cardial infection.1
