摘要: The technology acceptance model (TAM) asserts that ease of use and usefulness are two primary determinants behavioral intention usage. A parallel research stream emphasizes voluntariness, a key social influence contextual variable, as critical factor in information (IT) adoption, but pays little attention to its role TAM. This paper addresses this particular absence by investigating the impact environment-based voluntariness on relationships among four TAM constructs. meta-analysis 71 empirical studies provides strong support for hypotheses moderates effects intention, not effect usefulness. Moreover, inconsistent with our expectations, does moderate By further analyzing data set, we suggest may be because relatively small sample size, presence other factors, or inappropriate measurement usage previous studies. current study contributes only distinction between user-based also more complete understanding user IT across system-use environments.
