摘要: Abstract Many reinforced concrete bridges throughout the United States on county and state highway systems are deteriorated and/or distressed to such a degree that structural strengthening of bridge or reducing allowable truck loading by load posting is necessary extend service life bridge. The performance many these can be improved through external bonding fiber plastic (FRP) laminates plates. This paper summarizes results comprehensive finite element method (FEM) analysis repaired with externally bonded FRP laminates. Static dynamic analyses were conducted for conditions both before after repairs, two identical test trucks known weight configuration. FEM corroborated field data. parametric study assess effects altering cross sectional dimensions material properties upon girder deflections reinforcing steel stresses also presented.
