摘要: Aim: Subthreshold syndromes (STS) frequently precede the onset of full-threshold (FTS) corresponding mental disorder (homotypic continuity). This study examines whether subthreshold conditions are comorbid and there is heterotypic continuity also between STS FTS. Methods: Data were extracted from Brisbane “19Up” cohort twins siblings (N = 1838; 56% female) on individuals who (i) completed self-report ratings depression-like (DLE), hypomanic-like (HMLE) psychotic-like experiences (PLE) (ii) assessed for mood psychotic FTS using Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI). Associations estimated adjusted prevalence ratios (APR) 95% confidence intervals (CI). Results: prevalent, with 22% reporting DLE, 14% HMLE 5% PLE; 7% reported >1 STS, PLE most likely to demonstrate comorbidity. Individuals DLE meet CIDI criteria depression (APR: 3.71, CI: 2.83, 4.89), hypo/mania 3.62, 2.21, 5.94) disorders 1.74, CI 1.08, 2.83). 2.29, 1.58, 3.31) 2.51, 1.29, 4.91); those 5.8, 1.90, 17.70) 17.27, 7.54, 39.65). Conclusions: The findings suggest that common among young adults show as well homotypic support need more trans-diagnostic research evolution major disorders.
