摘要: An ion mirror for a time-of-flight mass spectrometer comprises monopole electrode structure which operates at d.c. voltage. This defines field region in an incident experiences electrostatic reflecting force having magnitude proportional to the separation of from where it entered or exits region, if latter is smaller.
