摘要: A cellular packet data arrangement includes an interface unit (NIU) (36) to a network and link units (LIUs) (38, 40) each providing channel (32) respective radio transceiver (18) for communicating packets with mobile terminals (22) having individual identifier (TEI). Each LIU stores the TEI, number, protocol communications terminal handled by LIU. In response first receiving communication from whose have been on second LIU, this is identified terminal's TEI not being stored (46) in (44) NIU respect of transferred To avoid possible error condition, can suppress reply until resent.
