All showed growth peptone broth containing 7 % NaCl. The variable results Voges–Proskauer test vibriostatic agent. There was also variation their antibiograms, some of multidrug resistant. Among strains, two only single band difference PFGE profile remaining nine different patterns. However, unlike PFGE, exhibited close matches clustering ribotype haemolytic effect on sheep red blood cells varied strains. Partial sequence analysis revealed that haemolysin gene 81 homology El Tor cholerae. A striking finding capability all evoke distinct cytotoxic vacuolation effects HeLa cells.
