摘要: Enhancement factors (EFs) and angular emission profiles of SERS from molecules on nanoparticles can be modified optimized by engineering their surrounding environments, namely other nanoparticles, dielectric metal films. This chapter discusses structures that are termed “double resonance” substrates. It is known when performed with having a single plasmon resonance, maximum signals will obtained the resonance situated between laser Stokes frequencies. Next, presents results studies demonstrate substrates double resonances, to enable strong intensity enhancements achieved at both The technique for forming nanogaps. Nanoparticle dimers nanoscale gaps present opportunity very high EFs, due substantial electromagnetic field enhancement occurring in these gaps. Finally, describes observation beamed Raman scattering using Yagi‐Uda (YU) optical antennas.
