摘要: Pediatric solid tumors are heterogeneous and comprise various histological subtypes. TP53, a tumor suppressor, orchestrates the transcriptional activation of anti-cancer genes. The gene coding for this protein is highly polymorphic, its mutations associated with cancer development. Arg72Pro polymorphism in TP53 has been susceptibility to types cancer. Here, hospital-based study, we evaluated association toward malignant abdominal children Hunan province China. We enrolled 162 patients neuroblastoma, 60 Wilms' tumor, 28 hepatoblastoma as well 270 controls. Genotypes were determined using TaqMan assay, strength was assessed an odds ratio, within 95% confidence interval identified logistic regression models. Our results showed that did not exhibit significant pediatric tumors. Stratification analysis revealed exerts weak sex- age-specific effects on susceptibility, respectively. Overall, our indicate may have marginal effect Hunan, finding warrants further confirmation.
