摘要: Results of a validation study commercial virtual wedge device recently installed at our institution are presented. The simulation produces an energy fluence from the treatment head that is equivalent to primary attenuated through wedge-shaped slab water with central axis set unity. A simple exponential formula used compute off-axis factors compared beam profiles measured in phantom. fast Fourier transform (FFT) convolution dose calculation profiles. Measured and calculated wedged/open field ratios as function depth also compared.
