Interpositional bone grafting and Le Fort I osteotomy for reconstruction of the atrophic edentulous maxilla. A two-stage technique.

摘要: This study presents the results from ten consecutive patients who, because of insufficient bone volume for conventional implant placement in maxilla, were treated with an interpositional graft and Le Fort I osteotomy. The endosteal implants placed six months after A total 60 screw-shaped titanium (Branemark) placed, which three failed to integrate during six-month healing period. No further lost follow-up period, ranging 15 39 implants. All received fixed bridges all have continued function efficiently.
