摘要: Objective To describe the natural history of central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) based on best available evidence from literature. Clinical Relevance Central is a common sight-threatening vascular disease. Despite introduction new interventions, CRVO unclear. Methods Systemic review all English language articles retrieved using keyword search MEDLINE, EMBASE, Current Contents, and Cochrane Library to November 13, 2008. This was supplemented by hand-searching references published within last 5 years. Two investigators independently identified relevant observational studies evaluating RVO clinical trials interventions for CRVO; an untreated control arm included. Results Of 5966 citations retrieved, 53 were reviewed, providing 3271 eyes with analysis its history. Visual acuity (VA) generally poor at baseline ( Conclusions Untreated had VA, which declined further over time. One quarter nonischemic converted ischemic CRVO.
