摘要: Newly synthesized phthalazine derivatives including copper and platinum complexes were evaluated for cytotoxicity in human breast cancer cell lines. The cells incubated with the compounds (100 µM) 72 h cytotoxicity, apoptosis DNA content measured by flow cytometery. Our results suggest that parent (H12), (C1-2)- (P1-2)-derivatized relatively more active inducing killing both lines, MDA-MB-231 being sensitive. Other showed weak or no response towards these parameters except H-5 causing 40% cells. Addition of structures generally reduced apoptotic potential. Possible roles structure activity relationships are discussed.
