Multi-criteria analysis as a support for national energy policy regarding the use of biomass: Case study of Serbia

摘要: Decision makers make decisions taking into account many different factors. That is why experiences, living standard and other „non-technical“ conditions may lead to in countries, or even regions of the same country. This paper deals with information gathered through a survey made among experts already dealing aspects of biomass use. Recognized factors influencing wider use are arranged SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) matrix. matrix used as base gather opinions experts interviewed. Conclusions were most influential on decision making process according the results. The questions chosen existing results, well based authors’ own experience estimated relevance situation country analyzed (Republic Serbia). The analysis covered responses 62 national this field. Based gathered data, proper multi-criteria was done using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) ANP Network Process) methods. Afterwards, recommendations comments and developers energy strategies are presented.
