摘要: Study Objective. The primary objective was to analyze the relationship between citation rate of an article and extent collaboration. secondary number authors/article institutions/article for period study. Methods. We counted original research articles published in six leading journals—Cell, Science, Nature, New England Journal Medicine, Lancet, American Medical Association—for years 1975, 1985, 1995. For each article, we determined authors separate institutions. also times that 1995 cited future scientific from Science Citation Index database. Results. There a median 2, 3, 3 institutions/article, All final models significant linear author component which all parameter estimates were positive, yet variable. Thus, correlated significantly with institutions. Conclusion. A correlation exists is other articles. Investigators who are open collaborations those seem adequately manage produce superior product results higher impact.
