摘要: The hematological malignancies can be broadly categorized into the malignant lymphomas. which include two major categories, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and Hodgkin’s disease; acute chronic lymphoid leukemias, may of B-cell or T-cell type; myelogenous leukemia (AML); myelodysplastic syndromes; myeloproliferative disorders. NHL accounts for 5% new cancer cases annually with 57,000 expected to diagnosed in 1999 (1). goal this chapter is focus on hematopathological approach diagnosis lymphomas molecular genetic methods, specifically Southern blotting polymerase chain reaction (PCR), are most commonly employed.
