摘要: The effect of Leptocorisa oratorius (F.) on the yield, grain quality, and seed viability four rice, Oryza sativa L., lines was studied. Three lines, C2, IR64, PSBRc20, are grown in Philippines. fourth, IR72164-201-1 is an unreleased experimental line O. japonica x indica cross. Each exposed to infestation densities for 21 d. L. feeding produced unfilled partially filled grains, resulting a negative correlation yield rice bug density. When grains were sown, germination rates negatively correlated with densities. percentage discolored positively density all lines. At same rates, PSBRc20 IR64 had higher yields, less damaged grain, than suggesting host plant tolerance feeding. economic injury levels (EILs) currently used management based solely loss estimates. results this study suggest that EIL bugs should be revised take into account reductions quality addition loss.
