摘要: A new low pressure fuel system implementation for Scania’s trucks is being investigated. The main challenge consists in exchanging the mechanical pump with electrical pumps. pumps must then be controlled to supply exactly demanded amount of at required pressure. System redundancy allows a lot degrees freedom influencing final performance. This thesis studies factors system’s performance design controller that enhances its behavior. physical basis elements are investigated and stated purpose. analyzed output tank level by LQG regulator giving successful results reference tracking. Integral action included disturbance rejection states estimated overcome quantifications noise from signals. improved extending Smith Predictor time delay compensation including information about engine mass-flow demand. control actions minimized tuning order extend component’s life. includes different modes when an external should input e.g., diagnosis test run. optimization free set-points discussed holistic criteria experience set. result endurance enhanced running only two one does not provide higher efficiency. Results show chosen improvement global efficiency. Future work will consist implementing resulting real built actuators selected accordingly results.
