Heat capacity investigation of dopant effects on the magnetic disordering temperature in Fe3O4

摘要: Abstract The heat capacities of ZnFe 2 O 4 , Zn 0.005 Fe 2.995 0.066 2.934 and Cd 0.010 2.990 were measured over the temperature range 350–1000 K by means differential scanning calorimetry. temperatures at which maximum in capacity occurs due to ferrimagnetic anomaly doped-Fe 3 samples found decrease with increasing dopant. excess entropy associated was estimated using three methods. One method, used previously for employed a calculated lattice contribution . other two methods experimentally determined either unmodified or mass adjusted, approximate contributions from vibrations.
