Application of micro–meso hierarchical porous carbon for toluene adsorption treatment

摘要: Organic waste gases from petrochemical industry cause air pollution. Due to the environmental effects of refractory organic gas, development effective adsorbent is imperative. The micro–meso hierarchical porous carbon with high surface area was synthesised by hard-template method. With MCM-41 as template, this material prepared using phenolic resin source. Dynamic adsorption performance toluene on studied gas chromatographic techniques. Effects initial concentration, temperature and bed height capacity were also researched. results showed that when concentration 1750 mg/m3, equilibrium amount adsorbed 358.8 mg/g carbon, 79.41 MCM-41. increased increase height, while decreased along temperature. strong capacity, manifests profound theoretical practical significance in treatment.
