摘要: Five adult patients with 3rd ventricle tumors underwent a transcallosal intraventricular parafornicial approach. Pre- and postoperative cognitive reviews were conducted on all patients. Each review consisted of: standardized neuropsychological battery, mental status reviews, specific tests for disconnection, personality variable, where possible. Computed tomography magnetic resonance imaging are also presented. The three colloid cysts the two oligodendrogliomas showed no significant deficits compared to preoperative review. These additional subtle neuropsychometric measures, along methodological advantage of review, support approach indicated preserve abilities.
