摘要: One of the unique features Dirac Fermions is pseudo-diffusive transport by evanescent modes at low Fermi energies when disorder low. At higher i.e. carrier densities, electrical diffusive in nature and propagation occurs via plane-waves. In this study, we report detection such surface states topological insulator through 1/f noise. While signatures have been seen experimentally graphene, behavior yet to be observed explicitly any other system with a dispersion. To probe this, studied noise insulators as function gate-voltage, temperature. Our results show non-monotonic 1=f energy varied, suggesting crossover from regime mesoscopic insulators. The temperature dependence points towards conductance fluctuations quantum interference dominant source these samples.
