摘要: The study reported in this paper considered the results of pilot-scale experiments on single and 2-phase anaerobic digestion waste activated sludge at high rate. Both digesters were conducted same conditions organic loading retention time. system showed clear increases terms matter removal biogas production compared to stage system. Particularly, volatile solids rose from 34% 38% Hence, global specific increased 32%, moving 0.21 0.31 m3/kgTVS·d respectively for systems. produced 15% more energy than Furthermore, heat a CHP unit satisfied all requirements insuring complete energetic sustainability process. Finally, both digestates meet established reuse agriculture regarding pathogens, metals contaminants. A preliminary economic analysis possibility pay back investment implementation second reactor 3 years because reduced quantity excess be disposed of.
