摘要: Comparisons are made in this article between the Canadian and U.S. health care insurance delivery systems. Canada has universal, comprehensive, publicly funded for medically necessary hospital physician services. The United States does not. Aggregate expenditures both countries examined as those services sectors. Policy differences systems, including system models, financing, resource commitment control, service limits, presented. Observations regarding two elements of model--prospective sector prospective global budgeting--and whether they transplantable to States.
