摘要: SummaryI NVOLVEMENT OF THE PRIMITIVE CARDIAC SEGMENTS INTHE NORMAL CARDIOGENESIS . I TS IMPORTANCE IN THEPEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY The ample development of diagnostic echocar-diography in pediatric cardiology has demand-ed precise knowledge the abnormal anatomyof hearts that present congenital cardiac diseas-es. As a result, information on morphologicand molecular aspects embryogene-sis become fundamental to understand theanomalous anatomy malformed hearts.Based these facts, this paper we reviewednormal cardiogenesis, integrating new in-formation obtained experimentally chickembryo and from classic descriptive knowledgein humans. age at which each seg-ment appears is specified. At same time, thechanges shape, relationships position ofthese segments are detailed. Some im-plications process production ofcongenital defects importanceof some specific genes also discussed. Thisinformation useful diagnosis congen-ital diseases, as well discussingtheir embryogenesis. It beneficial study-ing possible mechanisms impli-cated normal morphogenesis cham-bers, septa valves. All isimportant plan strategies avoid produc-tion type pathologies.(Arch Cardiol Mex 2006; 76: S4, 46-57)
