The significance of nutrition on patients initiated on antiretroviral therapy at Gelukspan District Hospital

摘要: In our setting, Gelukspan district hospital situated in the North West province of South Africa, it is not routine that patients initiated on antiretroviral therapy are referred to a dietician for diet prescription and nutrition advice. There no protocols exist referral dietician. study medical records 194 were randomly selected. Half them they matched with other half was referred. The body mass indexes both groups calculated at beginning period end then difference determined. It noted index those significantly greater than This means important refer order improve their status recovery health.
